The Trident edition of those with the patina buckles exactly matches what I want as a summer strap, for my Omega. Can anyone explain how the buckles work? I'm trying to work out and drawing a blank from the pictures...

They really are a comfortable and neat designCan anyone explain how the buckles work? I'm trying to work out and drawing a blank from the pictures...
It’s effectively like a closed loop, with the clasp returning and clipping into a movable link. As the material is looped and elasticated, the link is infinitely adjustable and doesn’t slip.
Unlike a conventional NATO strap, fitting it does require removal of the spring links on the watch, and there is no unsightly return that has to be trimmed or folded.
I’ve been very impressed with the one I have, and will most certainly be a returning customer.
Hope that helps.
