Replacement strap advice - Zenith

Morning all.

Unfortunately the leather strap on my Zenith Pilot Big Date Special decided to fall apart this morning, thankfully nothing else was damaged!

Firstly, I assume this won't be covered by Zenith as its 3 years old now and worn every day. I've yet to contact Zenith but if its not covered I can't imagine a replacement being that cheap but I love the clasp system it has so its a consideration.

I believe a 21mm strap should work, but changing to a non Zenith strap....a bit naff?

I would imagine a genuine zenith strap will cost a bizarre amount of money.

There are so many people out there making cool straps for a fraction of what the brands charge.
