Lost / misplaced Tudor Pelagos :(
Discussion
Booked my slow running Tudor in for a service via my AD about 5 weeks ago.
Got a compliment slip on Wednesday saying my watch was in.
Day off so visited my AD earlier. Paperwork on the outside clearly matched my watch.
Opened the elaborate Rolex service packaging in front of me, got to the actual Service box. Opened it & in side was a Tudor Black Bay Chronograph with a load of literature relevant to that watch.
Cue panic & a load of unsuccessful attempts to contact the service centre & some glum, worried faces.
I calmed them a bit as it’s not a watch I’m emotionally attached to so if they have lost it, Tudor can replace it with a brand new watch, spare straps, box & literature.
If it had been some of my rarer Ltd Ed pieces, I’d be hopping right now!
I guess the various stories & YT videos I’ve seen saying the Rolex / Tudor servicing taking a nose dive recently are correct.
How would my fellow watch enthusiasts deal with this?
Cheers,
Simon

I hope you get your watch back promptly, or RSC acts promptly and decides your watch won't be found and replaces it promptly.
DPD lost my Planet Ocean earlier in the year and it took some 6 weeks for Omega to claim and agree to issue me with a replacement. Days before I was due to receive my replacement, the original Planet Ocean had mysteriously been found, but nobody could explain where it had been!
If you do get your original Pelagos back, be sure to demand another service as nobody knows what's happened to it in the interim.
