It’s easy.

Your watch, your choice.

Whichever one you prefer, buy it.

Our opinions shouldn’t override your taste.

Take your time, don’t rush.

Neither. Unless you like them then get the one you want.

I've never liked the snowflake hour hand on the Tudor. Therefore you should not buy it. That would make ME happier biggrin

Been on the waiting list for a Black Bay GMT. Got it tonight. Am like a dog with two of the proverbials. Nothing wrong with a snowflake. Or three, in this case.

I’ve just bought the Breitling and I’m totally pleased with it.

Depends if you like shiny. I do.

How much was paid for this and which AD, if you don’t mind me asking?

waiting list... they really are following Rolex aren't they!

For that reason alone it would be the Breitling.

Waiting lists are smoke and mirrors

I wanted a Tudor GMT. Visited one dealer to be told "2 year wait sir".

Visited a second, they were much more helpful and much less dismissive. Placed an order and waited 2 months.

Personally wouldn't own another Breitling, unless it was a lifetime keeper. Their value absolutely tanks on the second hand market.

I agree with this! I will try to shorten my story.

When the GMT was announced, I went into Goldsmiths Milton Keynes and asked them to order one, no deposit required and they would let me know when its here, I thought to myself no chance I am every getting that.

Few months later a Scottish store manager for a Tudor AD spotted me commenting on Tudor posts about the GMT and asked me if I would like a "guaranteed delivery" by September 2018, I asked how, he said order one with us, give us a deposit, I also started paying the 0% finance.

We got towards September - October, no sign of either watch, so rang the Scottish dealer and they said they had 3 come in so far for 30 who have paid deposits, I was number 16 apparently. I then decided to pop into Goldsmiths MK and they said a similar thing, I'm number 18 on the list of approx 30.

2 weeks later MK called back, watch is here do you want to come and collect today... So I did. 2 months later the watch in Scotland that I had already paid for turned up, they sent it to me and I sold it on as I no longer needed it.

Anyway the point I wanted to make, I walked into Goldsmiths a few months ago with the GMT on and the Tudor sales manager said "wow where did you get that, we have only had 5 come in" So told him it was from there, that's when he admitted the 30 odd on the waiting list, when calling them to advise the watch was in stock and it needed to be collected in 24 hours, many of them said they didn't want it now!

So I went from like 16th to 1st, in 2 weeks.

If you like the BB 58, call a few dealers and advise them you want it, bet you get a call in 1-2 months.
