Méraud Bonaire

A while ago, a Belgian watch enthusiast decided to create his own watch brand, Méraud ( https://meraud-watches.com/ ).
The first watch he released is the Bonaire, it was launched through a Kickstarter campaign.
I decided to get one and today, I got to pick it up as Stijn happens to live close to where I live, so no shipment was required.
(disclosure: I have no links with Stijn nor his company! Just want to share a watch I'm very happy with and the enthusiasm for a new, promising brand)

I am absolutely thrilled with the design, the attention to detail and the sense of quality of it all.
It's a diver's watch, with clear influences of 50s designs such as the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms and the like.














At 39 mm, it is surprisingly less small on my wrist (in my opinion) than my Breitling SuperOcean Heritage II 42...

I love the clean dial. If only more brands would avoid writing a small essay on their watch dials.
