Cape Cod Polish

I want to get some of the above to polish my old Tag. Seems like the pot of wipes is around £18 on amazing, but you can pick up one for £4.

Just want to know how many I’ll need for one watch. Is one enough? No point in buying the whole tin if they’re not needed.

I have a sachet containing 2 cloths. I cut off a small strip each time I polish a watch. I think these will last me several years at least.

Just a quick one, but what finish does your TAG have on it?

Don't use one to polish the black / coloured bits!

I went to Lakeland and saw they stock cape cod cloths now which is nice, last time I ordered them from the US.

I used this on my Rolex Bluesy recently, which is a two tone gold and steel. I used it on the polished gold links after masking surrounding areas off carefully.

It worked really well, you just need a little bit of the cloth to work with I can see my single pack lasting ages. Only use on polished bits. Buff with the actual cloth first. Then buff dry with a good microfiber cloth. Then wash with warm soapy water.

Don't overpolish, especially soft metals.

Even after you've used a cloth it can be put in a drawer and reused.
I've been using the same piece a year or so now and still does a great job.
