Out of interest, does anyone know what the latest is with this project. I pulled out of the kickstarter project due to the price "anomaly" that became apparent. Still a nice looking thing though.

The last two updates were basically stating that production has started on the components and the watches will be built up by the end of November ready for shipping in December. Once the Kickstarter watches have all been sent out the remainder of the run will be for sale via the Newmark website in the new year though there's no news yet as to a) the cost and b) how many there will be, what Ewan has said though is that there'll only ever be one production run.

Edit to add that I've just checked up on the full retail price - £449

Thanks for that. Nice but pricey! What isn't these days.

Oh, and the price 'anomaly' you mention was sorted out quickly and without any cost to us, the buyers. so you dropped out for no good reason, should have hung in there for a couple of days as that was how long it took Ewan to decide to absorb the cost himself.

I feel proper smug smile Looking forward to getting mine in December.

If memory serves me i think the original pledge was in the region of £289. How much are you paying.

My early bird deal was £299, from memory that includes a tropic style rubber strap as well.

What are you actually paying for it now? Including any tax and import duties.

Just the £299.00, it was debited from my account mid July. As was said earlier, Ewan swallowed the cost/changed the arrangements his end so that the additional cost of the VAT on top of the pledge price was knocked off in full.

That's excellent. I do regret pulling out. I hope this experience doesn't put him off continuing
with his projects.
