My co-ax chrono Seamaster is just over 10 years young and I’m looking for a change. I quite fancy a nice leather strap for it.
Something classy but secure. Will be black on black. I don’t want to spend strong money on an official Omega one in case I don’t like it, and NATO or rubber is not to my taste.

Can anyone recommend where I could source. Hirsch look a good option?

Mancaveleather on Etsy does some great veg tanned padded and profiled/curved straps at sensible prices. Very good quality and good colour options (the burgundy is ace). Recommended

Another vote for Stevo, he made me a custom deployant leather strap recently and the results were excellent.

One idea - google image search 'seamaster leather strap' or similar to get a decent idea of what's available.

Many thanks all. Some great options that Google hasn’t brought up.

I think the Hirsch ones are excellent value:

My own opinion is that alligator / crocodile embossed leather straps look 'not right', and it's something that rankles with me every time I see it.
If you want generic leather, many of the previous suggestions have some excellent products.
If you want real alligator / croc, it still, doesn't need to cost a fortune, but you may have a to wait a while for delivery.

Try Ziczacleather, ( www.ziczacleather.com ) they have some excellent stuff, based in Vietnam. Have used before with good results.
Or try tn-handmadeleather.com, also from Vietnam, thay are slightly dearer, but excellent quality.
Both are hundreds of pounds cheaper than OEM alligator straps.

Good luck
