I've seen a few strange artifacts included in watch packaging (notably the Moonwatch paperweight) - but the Sinn GSG9 flick knife is definitely the most menacing !

Liking the new Zenith.

2019 Was a year of thinning out some of the crap I had to make way for some more pieces I wanted.

The outs:

Modded Seiko Monster (Made a profit)
Tauchmeister (can’t remember the ref but broke even after owning for 4 years)
G Shock DW5900 Vintage (Sold for a small loss but it did have a broken button)
Diesel Fashion Watch (can’t find a pic)

The ins:

Seiko SKX031 (Absolute dog that I modded into a what if Seiko made a Kermit)
G Shock 30th (Cheeky offer on eBay resulted in a bargain)
Seiko SKX007 (Older model with some real battle scars, wanted to mod it but love the patina)

I’m still Seiko obsessed...

The quietest year I've had since I started making obsessive rational watch purchase decisions.

Just the one in with zero outs - my Seiko SBBN031.

SBBN031

I've a Newmark 71 incoming that was paid for last year, hopefully it'll be with me within the next week.

In total, about 35 in and 30 out.

Bear in mind that I buy job-lots on eBay and sell them on individually for a minor profit (hopefully)

Some keepers this year though:

Bulova Lunar Pilot (best quartz Chronograph on the market)
Omega SMP 300 (1995, my first ‘proper’ watch)
Seiko Prospex ‘Dawn Grey’ Samurai
Seiko 5 Diver (older style, bizarrely enough I completely love this)
1992 TAG Heuer GMT, assuming Variomatic can get it working

Some of the ones that moved on:

Laco B-Uhr (Face too small at 38mm)
Seiko Prospex ‘Nemo’ Samurai (too orange)
Hanowa chronograph (wasn’t going to wear it)
Seiko 5 (likewise)
All my Parnis homages (gone off them)
About a gazillion quartz dive watches and chronos from job lots (normally just whacking a battery, quick polish and onto eBay)

If anyone wants to see a picture of any of them just holler.

SRPC97J1 Presage snowflake that I bought on a whim in the sales for £250. Probably gonna sell it on for £400.

Out:
SRPC13 Teal/Orange UFO limited edition. Bought on a whim as I was passing the local Seiko shop and later found out they were sold out around the world. Bought it for £220 and would admire it from time to time but never wore it as it wasn’t my style. Sold it for £350 and wish I bought a couple when they were £140 new online.

2020 I’m probably gonna get a Moonwatch. May sell my barely used SARB033 and get a 035 version.
