Quite fond of this £70 Seiko watch.
Quite drunk I stumbled into a wall the other night and have scraped the face.
Can it be repaired?

Cheers smile

What you probably scraped was the crystal, which some mistakenly refer to as the "glass".

Yes, it's an easy job for a watch repairer - where are you located?

You're welcome. Have a look on the BHI (British Horological Institute) website and see if you can find a local watch repairer near to you, they will need to know the model number of the watch in order to source the correct crystal.

Many watch repairers will insist on servicing the watch in addition to replacing the crystal, on the basis that the last person to open the watch is responsible if it subsequently stops working. The upside of this is that you should get the watch back as good as new, with a warranty!

Weird term, googled crystal, says typically made of "glass", acrylic, mineral or sapphire. Oh well.
