Steve o is great and hand makes them in Leatherhead (I think) the quality is great especially considering the price.

Maddog straps is another I really like, his buckles are amazing but a bit costly.

Another vote for Aaron at Combat Straps; have had a few from him and all great quality. If you get carried away with ideas, he's good at diplomatically saying what might work better

Not the fastest however, and import duties can sting!

My turnaround from Aaron was quite quick (1-2 weeks) considering the strap comes from Canada.

You may also want to suggest he sends the parcel as a gift...
