A great brand with brilliant build quality. I bought a Terrasport II and loved it. Until, that is, I bought the IWC Pilot Mark XVIII I really wanted. As I look to sell the Terrasport I realise residuals are not their strong point! Which is the main thing I would suggest you consider, along with not paying anywhere near list price.
As above.
Superb quality and well made. I have a Big 29er and it's lovely. It was an impulse buy and what attracted me then and now was the quality of the machining work and crisp clear dial.
Residual prices are not strong so you may be able to find a lightly used one at a bargain price.
That said I'm after another at some point - I really fancy a Sea Battalion or Yacht Timer.

I have one and use it daily. The quality is fantastic as others have said before. I feels very solid and is really comfortable on my wrist. The shape of it doesn’t catch on anything and makes pulling clothes over it really easy, I guess something it was designed to do ;-)
My watch is on a bracelet rather than rubber, it’s up to you which you prefer. The bracelet adjusts well with different positions in the clasp and half links so you can get a size that fits you comfortably.
It’s holding up well to daily scrapes, a few marks on the rubber bumper round the face and scratches on the clasp. Apart from that all good. I don’t worry about wearing or damaging it and no one has ever commented on it. As such, perfect for wearing every day! The dial is also really legible and the lume is good too.
Again, as others have said, the residuals aren’t great and not much brand awareness here in the U.K. If you’re looking for one, have a look on Chrono24 and I’m sure you’ll find one in Germany for a lot less than new. Residuals aren’t important to me though for this watch, it’s not too valuable so I don’t worry about where I take it and what I do with it. Any damage is par for the course. It’ll be on my wrist every day for a long time to come and will take something special to replace it.

They'll haggle too. Look for at least 20% but you may do better if you try.

Apologies it's not the SeaBattalion but the Rasmus 2000 I've always fancied-the blue dial on bracelet looks superb.
