As per the title, nothing too extravagant, but would need to be fairly robust.
Suggestions?

Kinetic or automatic would be better.

Get him a hooky dress watch. That’s what impresses the other kids a fake tourby or maybe something with a torch or bits that make it look like a robot?

He's hardly going to dominate from an early age with that though, is he?

If you want him to be bullied for the equivalent of wearing unbranded trainers then go ahead, but you really need to think about upping your budget ten fold.

I’m looking forward to ‘ive made it’ Rolex and Porsche wrist shots in this playground dominator.

If you put him on some lists at Porsche and Rolex, he might get the premium models by the time he’s 18?

Don’t let him try and schmooze any dealers though especially if he isn’t potty trained. No good him mid way through demonstrating his knowledge and then suddenly having to do a poo.

Back in the day I sold a ladies bimetal datejust for a four year old that was learning to tell the time. With all the removable links taken out out it was still slopping around on her wrist.

My 3yr old is wearing a 5711 to School. Even with that, I get remarked behind my back that I am a cheapskate parent.

If you wan't to hold your head up high as a good parent, you need to forget your £1-2k budget and at least start looking at £40k+.

If he wants to really mean business, wow about a Casio F91-W? Everyone knows they're worn by every proper hard ever, not your 2p cockney gangster types in their blingy bracelet watches.
