This has caught my eye recently and I can't get it out of my head.

Its a manual wind, slightly smaller than the normal Moonwatch, but a similar design, and with a sapphire crystal. Keenly priced too, for an Omega, and a numbered edition. However, not a very limited one it would seem as I gather it's been on sale since 2012.

Any owners out there, or views?

This is the watch.

They are great...and the pick of the speedy range for me, particularly if you have smaller wrists.

Really the only thing they screwed up was putting a sapphire crystal instead of hesalite irked

Might be worth a chat - my very lightly used FOIS is currently for sale.

I flew to London Heathrow to purchase one from the Harrods Boutique , saved myself 800 pounds.
Its a lovely watch , manual wind was very satisfying . Could not fault it. However i traded it for a Rolex 5513

Lovely piece , and a nice box.

I really like these, I’d love to add one to the collection, but so went with a Speedy Pro.

I really like these. The 42mm Speedy is too big for me, 40mm is perfect. Also, I’m not a fan of the omega bracelet, so this is perfect. I have this on my want list as I want to add a Speedy to my collection.

That's a great looking watch. I really want the Apollo 50th, but the prices are a bit rich for me.

I went to an AD last year to buy one of these. I came out with a moonwatch on leather.

For me the hands were the deal breaker. In the wrong light they become almost invisible especially with my less than perfect vision. A FOIS with the moonwatch hands would be the perfect watch as I do prefer the more retro case.

The two watches are the same size the only real difference is the extra piece of metal on the moonwatch between the pushers and crown. There were too many made to be a sought after 'limited edition' and the sapphire vs hesalite is a personal thing - do you want robustness or history?

I’ve got the Sedna gold version which is a lovely looking thing and available at a good discount also.

I hadn't noticed that until you mentioned it. I'm going to take a look the next time I'm near an AD.

Some useful comments there though, thanks guys.

Obviously a good option if the Speedy Pro is too big - shame it doesn't come with a bracelet option.

It's nice but I prefer the classic Speedy Pro Moonwatch. I also went through Heathrow and saved myself 20% off retail.

I have one - nice watch and, imho, looks far better on the NATO strap.
