Have mostly added to my small collection over the past few years, but contemplating shifting a couple of watches to fund the purchase of another. Maybe not right now, but at some stage when things are a tad less uncertain.

They're nothing amazing (Sinn and a Ball) but they're both limited editions - not under any illusions as to their price, but if they fund 50-60% of the watch I'm contemplating then I'll be reasonably happy.

Just looking for guidance on the most sensible places to try and move them on - not going anywhere near eBay or Watchfinder - to try and minimise possible scam artists. Thinking Chrono24, but not sure how a newly registered private seller would be perceived on there, but are there any decent forums / sites I should take a look at ?

Not in any great rush, but just looking at options.

Thanks all

Chrono24 is probably best in this instance, but I would probably wait until things settle if you can.

Can try PH and TZ (post limits apply).

Dealers are not likely to bid high in the current climate either.

thanks - not in any rush, but had a recollection that some sites may have post counts, hence maybe needing to lay some groundwork.

I've had reasonable success with 2 £1K-ish price range watches on e-bay,

Clear descriptions and collection only,

Both times the person enquired - visited and bank transfered whilst sipping a freshly made cuppa,

Just my experience smile

Watchmaster.com seems a reputable outlet. Offered me a very fair price for a GMTII

Watchfinder may be interested in the Sinn but are unlikely to even quote on the Ball, Both not being a SS Rolex are likely to have derisery offers thumbup
Still think Chrono24 & e-bay are your best options
