this watch was given to me by my grandad many years ago. id forgotten all about untill i came acrossit last week. i cant find anything online that looks similar.
its clearly well used and is mechanical also the bracelet is horrible and clearly not original. there are no markings or numbers on it that i can see.
if any one can shed any light on it that would be great.

Looks like a 1940's Omega in rather nice unmolested condition.
Has the gold plating worn off the lugs?

If you take the back off the movement will have a serial number, from which you can get the exact date.

I recon it’s older 1930s looking at the hands.

The case looks like nickel-plated brass, with most of the plating worn away. I would say 1940's, and very similar to the military watches issued to the Fleet Air Arm in WW2 - but it won't be one of those if there are no markings on the rear of the case.

Similar (military issue) watch here, with plating intact: https://www.poshtime.com/473.004/Omega-Fleet-Air-A...

id say its that bottom one.

what do we think its worth? obviously its very well worn and more than anything ill always keep it for its sentimental value but its nice to know.

i think ill get a nice strap for it and use it occasionally
