Been off this forum for ages and ages (sold all of my collection post divorce, not for money particularly, just getting rid of things I didn't need) so I'm a bit out of date with forum comings and goings.

I know there have been some great watch dealers on here, but can anyone recommend someone who deals in vintage jewellery?

Can you elaborate on 'vintage'?

Old cut diamond pieces? Enamelled jewellery? Or just cheap vintage silver stuff?

It's quite a broad subject.

Apologies. Yep, it’s an old cut Edwardian ring.

What advice are looking for? To sell it? Or repair it? Or buy one?

To sell, was looking for someone who'd dealt with someone on here reputable and trust worthy. smile

Unless you're desperate to sell I'd hold on for a bit. Most jewellers will be laden with stock that's not doing anything and with no income due to limited assistance for directors / self employed. The last thing they'll want right now is to buy, unless it's a bargain / guaranteed easy money.

I'm a jeweller myself and see a lot of businesses will soon be in a situation where they need to liquidate stock.

Feel free to message me if you want any further assistance.

Thanks for the assistance, I thought as much, although a couple of jewellers fairly local to me seem to be doing a very healthy trade online but I've never dealt with them so was uneasy.
