Admit I was a doubter at WOS getting full payment through third parties for Rolexes during lockdown. Are there happy stories of the brave sporting new wrist candy today, or is it tales of woe?

So you really think WOS group would take money from people for a watch and not supply it? Or di you mean the 3rd party??

Appointments have been arranged for collection at regular intervals throughout each trading day.

Some YouTube naysayers such as Paul Thorpe are very sheepish now.

Personally I felt that they would supply the watch for sure...if they were still around after lockdown ended.

The risk was that they fold, and take all the cash with them, and then you become an unsecured creditor.

I'm really happy to see that it worked out!

Your viewpoint on this is totally the same as me. No way would WOS pull a fast one but also no one can see the future. Imagine if they been lock down for
12 months, I don't think many retailers however big could survive that.

Very happy for all that got their watches, enjoy!

I'm glad people are getting them too.

The whole thing felt a bit off to me, but that is probably partly because the way Rolex has been selling these has been carefully managed for some time so my sense of normal (if you like) was off to begin with.

For those posting above that they've recently collected their new watch - nice work.
Any chance of some wrist shots please?

So comfortable on the jubilee bracelet; won’t be taking this off for a while.

Really? They seem to be advertised at a premium and are selling. Is there availability to people who didn’t pay the 100% deposit in April?

Well you can call Watches of Switzerland, walk into a beautiful flagship store on Regent Street and buy most SS sports Rolex at list price. Whats the motivation to pay more to buy one off some bloke on eBay hoping he posts it, hoping it’s real, hoping it’s not stolen?
