You need to prise (carefully) the plastic spacer ring out first: it's just there to stop the movement rattling around in the case. Undo the tiny screw on the top left side of the battery clamp & lift the clamp off. Avoid slipping or scratching anything in there - especially those cylindrical coils which are often victims of a slipped screwdriver.

Ah, ok, so the whole white ring should come out, and leave the movement in place?

What about the buttons for the chrono pushers that go through the white ring? Are they not connected to the movement itself?

Thanks again

The pushers are connected but you should find that the plastic ring is spaced over them & the winder so it's free to come out & leave the movement in the case. If it isn't (I'd be surprised) then it's a job for a watch repairer. You don't need to remove the movement fromthe case to change the battery.

Thanks. All out now - the little pushers we loose, and just placed in the ring, so it all slipped out.

Only one problem now.... my screwdriver is not small enough for that damn battery stay!!! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
