I read lots of bad things about the official service Center, not only in cost but also quality.

I have used goldsmiths a few times oner the last 15 years. They sent the watches to Breitling service center.
However the last time I sent one, it was the Breitling emergency. They made monumental balls ups on the servicing. Really unacceptable for such an expensive watch. I had written apologies ect, however.
From that point I have never used them again.

I would like to know too, mine just needs a new battery.

Used an local official Breitling service centre, they sent it off, told me I needed a full service which would cost something like £500 (minus parts) which I said no. They said they would therefore not change the battery and sent it back to me. Took nearly 2 months from sending it, assessment and return, plus still not working. A couple of years ago it was a couple of weeks max and something like £60-£90 to do this from official Breitling service centre (even sending back to Switzerland).

That's what happened to me too.Breitling quoted for all sorts of stuff including a new crystal. There was nothing wrong with it.
Took it to AMJ as I'm only about 45mins away.
Anyway new battery for £75 and 3 days later, running like a swiss watch and has been for 18mths.

Oh bottom...
made some calls to people above and...

“Unfortunately the movement you have I your watch is a reserve calibre and certified Breitling service centres such as ourselves are unable to service these watches the only people that can service and maintain these watches are Breitling themselves“

Lali, if you try Joe today you should get hold of him. He is back in the shop but very busy. He called me about a repair but had to go because he had a queue.
