I got the above watch as a wedding gift to myself instead of a ring.. So its about 7 yrs old and had quite a bit of use (mainly weekends and holidays) but unfortunately has had a few knocks and has marks on body frown
Also the strap could do with tidying up or replacing.

Could anyone advice on wether the marks are possible to be polished out? Also best direction to get a replacement strap (would need to be like for like)

I am not exactly sure of the official watches title tbh. Seems to be pretty rare and hard to find one on the market. Only one I did see was for £6k which is great news for me but that was probably a mint example.

Anywhere near the jewellery quarter in Birmingham? They can polish out any marks on the body and on the glass. As for a new strap look at official TAG dealers or go Bamford etc to have something bespoke.

Typically, Tag model numbers go watch type then strap type. For example, this is a CAV518B.FC6237

I know the watch is not your watch but it looks like the strap is FC6237. The FC6238 is orange if you fancy a change.

The scratches can be taken out and the watch returned to new condition. If that is what you want.

Cool thanks. That strap looks very close to mine in fairness ! I want it back to like new condition. Didn’t think it would be possible !

You could always send it to Tag. Might not look anything like yours when you get it back months later, at vast expense, mind you.

I bought an IWC in worn condition so I would not obsess over scratches. I wore it like a G-Shock for 2 years and decided to sell it for an Omega. Before selling it I had it cleaned up and it came back looking brand new. I nearly did not sell it because it felt new.
