I bought an orange Samurai last year, but didn't wear it. I have recently tried to adjust the bracelet and it isn't going as expected...

I have removed the pins from the removable links using a small screw type tool, pushing them in the direction indicated. When I have reassembled the bracelet the pins have required very little force to re-insert them and they won't stay in place.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong, please?

The correct name for this watch is a Prospex SRPC07

Are you trying to replace the pins without the collars? If so, it won’t go well!

As above. Little collar inserts hold the pins in place. They are tiny and easy to drop and not realise.

Seiko collar and pins are legendary for being a b'stard to do so I leave it to my watch guy.

For the sake of a fiver it's a no brainer!

Thank you.

Yes I was ignorant in this respect. When I posted I had removed two pins. After posting I removed a third and the collar jumped out into the tool: I hadn't seen the previous two. Both of the missing collars have now been recovered from the floor around my desk.

Thanks for this and for your prompt reply. I would certainly have lost the two missing collars without the heads up.

You did well to find them. They are pretty tiny!

I wasn't quite a lucky/clever as I had thought: I had taken out four pins in total and not three. I'd reinserted one between two links, so I have lost one and I am now unable to vacuum.
