I’d like a yacht master with the blue face, which I don’t think I can get new nowadays, so will need to buy secondhand.

I’ve always bought new before, so am not sure how best to make sure that I’m getting something genuine, not stolen, and in good condition. Is it best to just go on one of the commonly names sites, find one that looks right, and buy it, or are there all sorts of pitfalls to be aware of?

Thanks.

Chrono24 possibly the best way forward. Buy from a reputable trusted seller. Good Luck!!

There is an expression that you 'buy the seller' not the watch.

The pitfalls are that there are an awful lot of fakes - so you need to take care. Go to someone reputable - always worth checking on here just to see if the vendor is known.

I may just get the current model instead, the grey one, which is also nice.

Read the small print. "Trusted" on C24 means something quite specific.
