Hanging my nose over one of these.

Really really pretty watches.

I did think I wanted blue on mesh but then I noticed they have a white face available which looks great and also scratches an itch i've got for something with a white dial. Black & roe gold is also tempting but I don't think i'd wear it as much as I should. Black on black looks great too but I have too many black faced watches at the moment.

I know they had a Heritage 1 with the old ETA movement and they now do a 2 with the Tudor movement.

Different, hands on the watch, ceramic bezel etc. Some questions though..

I thought the old one had the date window at 3 and the 2 had the window at 6 - is this correct?

Was the white faced one limited edition or something as I can't find it on the Breitling website

Do it!
Gen 1 42mm pictured with date at 3 and ETA 2824.
Gen 1 in 38mm and 46mm both have dates at 6.
Gen 2 all have dates at 6. I think this applies to the three handers. I believe all have B20 movement (Tudor / Kenissi sourced).

Chronos are different with others having date at 3.

That simplifies things then as I want a 42mm gen 2.

So that'd be date at 6, new hand markers, ceramic bezel.

Now to find a white one.... like this...

This was my gen 1 46mm which I wish I still had. Both gens are lovely watches.

Looks much better in the flesh, I've found that no picture can do it justice as it's very reflective. It is a marmite watch though so must be seen in the flesh first.

I do really like the '57 but it's a very different proposition to the normal SOH.

I like yours. Need to get mine sized and used, or sell it.

I’m looking at one tomorrow (not in the UK), Superocean Heritage II Chronograph A13313121B1A1. What’s the general discounts on these new 25%?

Black dial and the mesh strap is what I’m after, Chrono24 seems to indicate around 4K from a UK seller for a new one.

I just bought a Superocean Heritage 57 Rainbow - ordered it on Christmas Eve and it arrived on the 6th Jan - Breitling picked it back up to adjust the strap for me and its been on my wrist since monday.

Loving it ESPECIALLY the concave bezel

Lovely. You did well to get hold of that off Breitling. Great to hear about the service too.

Breitling are on a roll at the moment. The AVI reissue, the Navi reissue, the new SOHs, the 36mm Chronomats... I think we need a Breitling thread!

Took the plunge yesterday and bought this as I got a good price, really happy with it and wears pretty well.

I love my Gen2 44, I believe they didn’t do a 44 in the Gen1.

Don't suppose anyone knows the exact reference for this one do they?

Heritage 2, 42mm, white face.

Nothing with a white face appears on the Breitling site anymore and nothign on chrono24 or similar either.
