Rolex will be introducing their new 2021 line up tomorrow at Watches and Wonder Geneva

Some of the rumors' I've found on the net...

- Discontinue Explorer 1
- 50th Anniversary Explorer 2
- Introduction of Platinum/Rose Gold metals on Submariner
- Oyster Flex on Submariner / Sky Dweller
- Discontinue Deep Sea
- Discontinue Milguass

What are you guys predicting?

Waiting lists, unless you are in a long term relationship with your AD, cheaper than marriage I suppose...

Hype, waiting lists, and idiots.
And, presumably, some watches.

I'd better start practicing my "tromboning" technique.

Every other manufacturer of non-essential, luxury, expensive items fails to make a profit, hugs fluffy bunnies, doesn't create envy in others, and sells their largely unknown products in Tesco.

I wish I understood what that meant

I certainly need a Rose Gold Submariner to keep me safe at 30m on my next Red Sea dive trip.

White gold Batman appears to be a thing. Think Tudor will do a Coke GMT also. New Explorer (probably II) of some sort but hard to tell from the teaser video. Would like to see green accents on the dial for the 50th anniversary.

People fawning over watches that they can't buy unless they buy a number of other watches that they don't want.
Or paying double list on the grey market and thinking they've got a bargain.
Or buying the same watch that still tells the time as good as the old one but because the new one has an unobtanium bezel insert.

Have I missed anything?

"Coke" Tudor GMT is a little boring, I have the Pepsi but the dark blue on the Pepsi almost looks black at times. Would of probably been better doing a Batman colour scheme, or going totally out there and doing an Irn Bru!

What a let down!! Rolex Obviously dont listen to what the customer would like? Surely they must do market research. If they do, who the hell got them to make that Gold and steel Explorer!!

The explorer in gold and steel because it's better for climbing mountains...said nobody.

Exactly. This is why I stopped buying Rolex 15 years ago. The product has become totally secondary to creating unjustified hype.
