A number of new watches revealed today. The chronographs look quite nice except for the bracelets. The gold one isn’t for me, particularly at £13k.

I like the Tudor Chrono especially the white dial with black insert dials but the thing that puts me off the BB range is the bracelets with the fake rivets. I much prefer the Pelagos for that but even the Pelagos has the expansion mechanism showing on the outside of the clasp which I don't really like either.

I think.i will buy a BB at some point but it will be a Nato strap version.

I have / have had a few tudor’s. I have kept my Advisor and 1970s sub. Gifted my eta Pelagos to eldest son. Loved that watch - the strap was sublime. I gave my younger son the smiley bb - again an eta, on leather but with a tudor nato strap. Liked it but too thick and chunky (the watch not my son).

I like the silver BB58, which also includes a display back along with the gold/green model, however it's a little too close in aesthetics to my Pelagos LHD (which I were on the rubber strap) for me to justify.

mixed feelings as a Tudor owner.

quite like the Chrono, also strangely like the BB58 18k but not the straps it comes with.

I was excited when I read there was a new "slimmer" Tudor Chrono but it is 14mm compared to a Daytona's 11mm. Still too thick for my taste.

I used to have the BB Chrono when it came out and it was a lovely watch but like others I found the bracelet jarred a bit. Long since traded it for my moonwatch.

I do really like the look of these panda versions and if it came with a non-riveted bracelet with a proper taper (not 'stepped' as such) I'd be tempted back again! Only other thing I'd improve is making the coin-edging consistent across the crown/pushers. Certainly was the best built watch I've ever owned. Felt properly bombproof.

Of these new releases I really like the look of the silver 58 but realistically I think the one for me is the silver dial BB41. Really want to try one of those on ASAP.

At first I washed shocked by the gold BB58 and thought it was too ambitious for Tudor. However I have been thinking it could be an interesting watch.

I think the new silver and gold BB are Tudor trying to help the brand go upmarket. Especially with the clear case back which I really like.

If a Hulk, Kermit or even a Sub are north of £15k I would rather have the gold BB58 as long as I could buy it a retail.

Pity the bracelet from the BB41 isn’t used on the chronograph.

Love the Chrono with Panda faces but bracelet could have done with a polished centre link. Also has added advantage of date
Love the Black Bay in 18ct Gold / Green ( but I love that colour combo if it is a shiny green not a matt green ) but at £12.6K that is serious dosh for a watch let alone a Tudor
I love the new Tudor 1926 as that dial and font is very pretty and at £1360 it could be an excellent daily / office watch if it is slim

They could have jazzed up the appearance of the movements a bit if they were adding display casebacks.

They look like Guang Zhu Ailexpress cheapies.

I'd very happily wear any of those pictured, especially the taupe/silver BB which I think is a bit of a sleeper, I'm not on the market for them though. It will be interesting to see how the pre-owned prices fare ref the silver and gold BB58s, it's certainly a chunk of money new for the latter and you'd think that any potential owner would be going in with their eyes wide open, fair play to the brand for launching them though and it's also fair to say that no-one saw these coming.

I think that most people expected tudor to produce more bb colours rather than produce any new models. Ok they have used different metals but nonetheless they are just bb variations.

hehe

I hard not to agree - I have some much cheaper watches with far better looking movements.

It’s why Rolex and Tudor’s usually only have steel case backs.

The red and grey clouds of powder that they used in their short teaser lead to many thinking that they'd release a 'Coke' ceramic bezel GMT in a 58 sized case - that didn't happen. A spin off from that case was always on the cards given the total scope, and popularity, of the entire Black Bay range though I didn't read of anyone coming remotely close to predicting both silver and gold cased 58s.

Quite financially relieved they didn't introduce a updated NF or Ranger with a MT movement .

Yep. I just can't get over the snowflake...

I really like the North Flag, but just couldn't justify one and now they are discontinued.
