I'd have thought they would have used a shield for the badge so to my mind it looks like a cheap knock off.

The pictures aren't great so it's difficult to say definitively.

The current watches aren't high end so even if it's one of them it will have no resale value.

Great spot.
Shows how wrong I am - if it's one of those a bit of spit and polish and it's worth a couple of hundred at least by the looks of it

Hello, these guys may be helpfull : www.ferrarichat.com
You will need to go to : forums/threads/ferrari watches thread - vintage chronographs.
To take full advantage of the web site you will have to register.
I would like to be more help, but my log-on details are for some reason no longer accepted. (probably because i only own a ferrari logo Gerard Perregaux watch!)

Not a computer expert, so you will have to do a lot of searching - sorry.

Ferrarichat.com will have the answer. Easy to register and you don't get a load of spam plus the search is good. 10 pages of 'Cartier Ferrari watch'.

Like PH, they are sniffy about posts that are really adverts. I'm sure yours is not. There were themed watches such as 'Testarossa' and 'Boxer'. Cartier had an economy line called 'Must de Cartier' in the 80s and might even have sponsored a Ferrari at Le Mans.

Pulled this out of ferrarichat with square logo:
