Does Heuer keep records

hi all , as post suggests, does Heuer still keep records of who,what,when where etc of when an old stopwatch was made. Have one with a number on the side and would love to know who bought it. Also this old stopwatch requires a good service as is not working 100%. My nearest is Watches of Switzerland in Cardiff. Would you let them near it.

Watches of Switzerland would at best send it off to someone else they wouldn't do.the repairs personally. Try a proper watch maker such as Anglesey watches.

I dont know about Heuer keeping records though.

Hello uglymug, "do Heuer keep records?" in a word - no. It is a long and complex story about Heuer's history in the 1970's. Short version - Lemania/Omega were caretakers for a year to save company from bankruptcy, then sold to Ron Dennis (Maclaren boss) then sold to T.A.G. During all this all Heuer "history" paperwork was destroyed/lost.
I know this having tried to research 1964 Heuer Carrera.
