Hi all, I have an old gen 1 Seiko Monster that I would like to give a new lease of life. Its an orange monster with the original bracelet. I've given it a thorough clean and it's come up like new so would like to replace the very worn bracelet. I'm looking for a black and orange strap to fit but I understand that this watch comes with fat lugs that will only fit certain straps. Can anyone recommend a strap that will fit or is there anything I can do too make a normal sized strap fit? Thanks in advance. This is the sort of look I'm after unless anyone can change my mind;

You could always try one of these:

I assume it fits...

I have a selection of Natos for mine, I must dig it out and give it a wear actually.

I’ve got a Hirsch Liberty on mine, doesn’t particularly look like what you want though.

Thanks for the replies guys. I've actually purchased the one in the picture along with a set of different spring bars that allow most straps to be fitted to a gen1 Monster. I didn't know you could buy them.

That's basically the strap I have on my Bremont MB2 - they do one but look for a kevlar bremont strap on ebay etc and you will see loads.

Finished article;

Not sure to be honest. Strap is a Zuludiver. Great service from watchgecko though.

Looks OK on that strap...used to have mine on a shark mesh which worked well

Looks well on the shark mesh.

I just can’t get to grips with straps - I often like the look but they don’t seem to wear as well on my wrist.
