Grand Seiko.....discount?

Good evening

I have an itch to add a GS to the collection....but I hate to over pay for anything lol.

Are there discounts to be had on these via the usual suspects ie WOS etc?

Yep. Look at Watches of Mayfair and ask the dealer to get as close as possible to their price. If they can't do it, try another.

And/or try a Japanese seller. Some won't sell outside Japan but I got mine from Higuchi http://www.higuchi-inc.com/english/ who were happy to deal.

Ignore the Internet 1997 website, although you will probably find a price list on there - they were fine to communicate with in English and a few emails got me (iirc) a GS for about 2000 (plus VAT paid on arrival) vs a 3500/4000 UK list at the time.
