I haven't had one since I was a nipper, but have started to think I might want one.

Anyone here a fan of them?

Yeah, 2 hand base Panerai is I think my favourite watch. Especially the old Unitas/ ETA 6497 movement.

I used to think I couldn't be bothered winding a watch. But if I am putting it on in the morning, winding it isn't that much additional effort.

A Moonwatch - and yes, I actually enjoy the routine of winding it.

I have an Omega Speedmaster Mk2 which is manual wind and I enjoy the physical connection of winding the watch.

I have a Stowa Marine Original with Unitas 6498. A lovely watch, which I never intend to sell.

Wear it almost daily smile

I have a Hamilton Khaki Field watch that is handwinding and I really want a Moonwatch. I enjoy the connection of winding the watch. The trouble is, the Hamilton has poor water resistance (and the Moonwatch, too - it’s one reason I haven’t got one) so I rarely wear it.

I’d like a handwinding watch with at least 100m

The Zenith I pictured above has 100m WR.

And it is a thing of beauty! It is now officially on my wish list!

I own 3 manual wind watches Omega and CWC and I absolutely love them, one of the main things I love is that I do have to manual wind them, it’s a part of the watch and gives a very real connection for me between man and machine, a sort of old school nostalgic connection.

If that had a panda dial of either persuasion, then that would be the perfect watch.

I have an Omega hand wound chrono, along with a pair of proper Poljots. I wore the Klassik 3133 as a work watch for several years and I dont really recall winding it: it is second nature when you take it off in the evening.
