I don’t like CW personally, that style does nothing for me. 
I don’t really see an issue with the bronze ageing as such, perhaps more important not to get it wet?
I recall an old chap wearing a cheap (relatively speaking - 9ct) gold bracelet - the back of it was all green/mouldy...I doubt if he ever took it off.

I do love a Hamilton, one of the bets value for money "mainstream" brands IMHO.
On the bronze front, I have a Magrette Moana Pacific Waterman bronze and it has aged very well, with a nice patina. It did have bit of green when I was wearing it in high humidity environments, but that has gone.
I'm not a big fan of forced patina where the watch goes green/blue etc. so am happy with how it looks now.
