Cartier service/repair
Discussion
Hi folks - I've a Cartier pasha chronograph that's never kept time that well (gained a minute or so a day!) but its just stopped automatic winding. So it needs some attention. Personal recommendations are always preferable if anyone can recommend someone?
The only place google throws up other than Cartier themselves is luxurywatchrepairs.com in Hatton garden.

Brendan Hoey @ Web Watch Maker: still seems to blow hot and cold. As a result I decided to edit.
If you look you can find negative comments about most repairers, but most seem to be the result of lots of work and not enough time, rather than real shortcomings.
The firm I wanted to suggest was Swiss Time Services, but I thought that they didn’t cover Cartier, however I was mistaken. They would be my first call, with well regarded one man band next.

I’ve been extremely happy with the service from H Stanley in Dorking. I’ve had a clock fixed there and my Rolex sub repaired (new Rolex spring) and serviced. They have a watch man come in weekly to take the watches they’ve had in for service and turn around time was a couple of weeks. Faultless work and ++reasonable prices plus great service and comms.
