To mark a significant occasion there is up to £15k to spend on something special, I can't think of anything better than a watch.

Currently in the watch box are;

- Rolex Hulk 116610lv
- Omega Seamaster PO 600m
- Panerai PAM01314
- White Gold Breitling Emergency
- Various Seikos

I'd love a white face steel Daytona but not likely that'll fall into the budget. I quite like the James Camera SD.

Looking for inspiration.

What would you spend £15k on?

I have been considering the Girard Perregaux Laureato recently. A lovely watch and well within your budget.

There are also a few Breguet watches that are around your maximum budget.

Out of your list probably a Panerai because I have a bit of a thing for them currently.

I wouldnt buy the Rolex hulk for anything other than putting it away as an investment, I wouldnt wear it, if I wanted a Rolex sub to.wear would probably be a black bezel variant personally so it doesnt stand out as much.

If you like Seiko have you looked at the Grand Seiko range?

I'd be tempted to go for a Breguet at that sort of money.

Or if something a little more complicated is desired

Sorry you misread, they are what I already own. Very rarely wear it. Worth a lot more than I paid.

GO SeaQ Panorama for me. Think you’d get a bit of change out of your 15k as well.

Not overly keen on budget creep and I'm not overly keen on rose/gold (doesn't suit me) but there's no denying that's pretty.

As is this.

ETA: I rarely dress any smarter than smart casual, it's chinos, shirt and a jacket at most so I'm wondering if the IWC offerings are a bit dressy?

I have quite a thing for Panerai, but I'd avoid that one (and pretty much all the current ones tbh)

Up to £15000,

These are two lightly more left field watches I would be considering

https://chrono24.app/alangesoehne/saxonia-215029-b...

Then there would also be

https://chrono24.app/hmosercie/hmoser--cie-henry-d...

They both offer you something your others don’t. They are smarter watches for the occasions when you do dress up. When it’s nice to put on something you wouldn’t usually wear day to day. You seem to already
Have a great selection of casual/smart casual watches already. I’d be looking for something that fits a different criteria, so they all have their own roles in your collection and make it as well rounded as possible.

The next watch I’m really looking for is something dressy on leather, just can’t quite match your budget at the moment!

The octo is a great choice too.

It’s not going to amass horological brownie points but if I’m spending your money and am therefore not concerned about depreciation, I’d quite enjoy bagging a white gold Franck Muller Long Island crazy color dreams, with the blue floating number dial.

I know… getmecoat
