Hi guy's, apologies for a ramble.... recently managed to aquire my first decent watch after hard saving. Planet Ocean 2012 XL. Orange numbers and on the original Omega deployment black rubber strap with small orange stitching. I really fancied the latest genuine Omega PO strap but it doesn't fit according to Omega even though the case and lugs dimensions on the Chronograph are the same at 45.5mm and 22mm as my watch.

Looking for recommendations for a quality rubber strap with a bit more orange please. Concerned about fit at lugs.. Seen the Hirsch Robby one and that's a contender, anything else out there? Pics are good. Tia.

I was considering an Isofrane https://www.isofrane.com/straps/ but then came across the watchgecko strap as below. They are surprisingly good quality for the price. The rubber feels soft and flexible and just generally premium feeling. Having spring bars is a nice luxury also. I honestly can't see how you could improve it and where the extra £100 for a genuine isofrane could go.

They also do a solid style. (and several others if you filter for orange on the site)

ETA: because watch threads are useless without pictures, here's one I found with a PO on isofrane style. (not my pic)

Thanks guys, good calls there I hadn't seen. The Hirsch is £65, similar to the C. W. Thought my watch looked good on the traditional style gecko type too. Agree on pricing. At £60 odd there must be a nice margin , at Omega prices £245 etc I'm out.

Cousins UK have a huge selection of straps at ridiculously low prices. Some of the branded aftermarket straps are no better.

Barton Elite silicone straps are good, recently got one and I’m very happy with it. They do odd sizes like 21mm thankfully

The finishing is good, comes with two lengths of band and a neat set up to control the keeper.

So I went with advice here, 2 from GeckoStraps which came next day, free delivery and 20% off. Great quality and pretty authentic Isofrane. Other 2 from Cousins, actually cheaper than chips. Nice selection to try now.
