In the market for one of these .Great prices around but all out of the u.k .Didnt realise the 20% import tax plus .

Wanted a mint one with blue dial .Question is how much did these retail for in 2003 ? Thanks

I’m curious why you care what the retail was 20 years a go?

Best bet is to find a catalogue online from the time.

It's a Breitling (well, more accurately it isn't a SS rolex/patek/AP/*insert hype watch here* ), so there isn't any investment side.
Don't get me wrong, I love Breitling and have a couple myself, but the fact remains, outside of the hype stuff, buy what you like, not for investment. It's done its depreciation and more than likely now still worth less than it was new, so you will probably not lose any value from now, but probably won't gain much either....unless it becomes the next big hype after some bellend on hodonkee mentions it.

Between servicing and wear from, well, wearing it will undermine the appreciation on the vast majority of watches.
