Rolex GMT 126715CHNR
Discussion
Not sure what an 'H' neck is, although was asked if I was powerfully built in another watch thread!
The steel / rose gold GMT is really nice; I was in getting a Valentines gift for my wife and tried on the display model they had.

I asked to be stuck on the list for one, but they have come back and offered me the 'slightly' more expensive version.
Never seen one in the flesh but interesting points made about skin tone.

I've a very fair skin tone and have the Bi GMT and a rose gold DD. The rose gold is quite flashy but has a wonderful weight to it. I don't think it particularly clashes with my skin! The Bi GMT is probably my favourite, I prefer it to the full RG version. I wouldn't have a Bi DD though! Incidentally when I ordered the GMT last January they weren't that popular, it came in two weeks! Wow!
That rose gold DD with the green face is absolutely stunning.
I have a two tone Daytona with black face which is really nice and was unsure about the two tone GMT as maybe a bit too similar style to Daytona; that was the discussion we had at the time, so maybe why they called me about this rose gold GMT.
Thats incredible you had a 2 week wait for your GMT; this is only the 2nd RG GMT thats turned up in 14 months for them!
Going in on Friday to see whats what; not the greatest idea as the chances of declining after trying it on are slim.
Might also just enquire about that RG DD that you have; I'm a bit smitten with that!

If you can I'd go for the full rose GMT then, it's a very nice watch. I ordered the DD in early 2020, got that very quickly as well, it wasn't a popular model then either! I hear it's a bit tricky to get hold of now. That rose gold DD with the green face is absolutely stunning.

Lovely watch, i'd love one but i'm not sure how comfortable i'd be wearing a 30K Rolex out in public.
Over the last 20 years of living in central London I've been mugged 3 times! I still wear my watches out and about. To be honest, I now rarely go anywhere unless it's in a taxi, though this has less to do with my history of being relieved of my timepiece and more to do with me becoming a lazy sod as I've got older. My work means I don't have to get public transport and when I'm out of London in the countryside, the risk of being held up is I hope, minimal! Deep said:
Nice tan, but are you 'powerfully built deep?Only kidding!
I generally also have a natural tan, and I have to say that does look pretty stunning on the wrist; thanks for that pic.
I have only seen pics of the RG GMT so that has helped make my mind up if it already wasn't.
Although the steel watches seem to be the most desired here on the forums, I do like the slightly different ones also.
My favourite to wear at the moment is my blue faced two tone Sub, which I somehow still think of as a late 80's scrapyard owners type of watch, but as soon as I tried it on I absolutely loved it.
As I mentioned before, trying a watch on its game over for myself.
Looking forward even more to Friday now.

I'll be honest and say that I'm careful about where I wear it, that's life these days unfortunately.I definitely wouldn't wear it on a drunken night pub/bar crawling in London.
I do find an occasion every few months to wear it and it does feel really special when I do.

It's a lovely watch, not one to turn down if you have the funds imho.
Have a good evening.

That DD is stunning! That combination is one of my favourite precious metal Rolex watches.Gassing Station | Watches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
