I've managed to lose the screw-in pin that attaches the bracelet to my Steinhart ocean 1, while I was wearing it which seems to be some trick. How do I know what a suitable replacement will be? I feel like I should be concerned about getting the correct thread and whatnot.

I've not had an answer back from Steinhart yet, PH is usually quicker than any supplier anyway thumbup

Eh? The spring bar that attaches the bracelet to the case?
Any watch shop will have one, or a Timpsons.
Steinhart normally take 22mm IIRC.

That's the point, it's not a spring bar. It's a screw-in. I assume I need to know the tap, diameter and length to get the right one .. maybe I'll just take the opposite end out and see if a Timpsons, or whoever, can match it up.
