My dad has found his long-lost Omega Constellation that he got for his 21st (in late 1960s), had it refurbished and has kindly passed it on to me.

It originally came with a stainless steel bracelet but my dad changed the strap as it kept on pinching his arm hairs, so replaced it with the leather strap shown.

I’m not a fan of the strap plus it’s worn and needs replacing.

I would like to source a stainless steel that it is as close to original as possible, but searches seem to just end up at eBay. Does anyone have ideas of reliable/ genuine places to look?

Alternatively, I quite fancy a thicker crocodile strap (or similar), did Omegas have the option for a thicker leather back in the day?

Try strapcode.com. l've a feeling that would have had a 'rice grain' bracelet originally.

Also have a look at Forstner Bands. They do a few retro style bracelets that would suit the Omega a treat.

I'd speak to Patrick at Kings Hill in St Albans. He knows his vintage Omegas, having been at Austin Kaye when they were at their peak.
