Only just noticed this was released by Bulova. 28.8k Movement with True GMT hand. All for US$875. Can't wait to see UK pricing.

I would think I will wait for Bulova to release a plainer dial before I get one, not keen on the embossed dial but value for money seems very impressive.

No problem with what 'we' like. At least we have made our own decision!

Better than all those threads about which model 'you' think I should buy....

This movement is already in a few other brands, Lipp is one I don’t remember the other.

Miyota 9075 - going to be everywhere in a few months.

Not just me then.
It's a piece of man jewellery FFS. I blame the world of the influencers for the inability of the masses to make inconsequential decisions without being influenced. Forming your own opinion is clearly beyond the capability of many. It makes you wonder how these people dress themselves, being presented daily with a choice of socks must be petrifying.

I'll admit that back in 2007 I spent £1300 on a Cartier Roadster. My first big watch purchasse. At the time I knew nothing about watches, so I did ask for advice on a forum. But my question was "Are Cartier watches any good?" not "Do I like this?".

Hopefully that movement will be released to the micro brands too. I’m already waiting for the Steeldive GMT homage with the new Seiko NH34 movement. Shouldn’t be too long.

Well that I like! Especially as it’s a true GMT!

Had a Bulova VX200 (I think) a long time ago and really liked it. The build quality was very decent.

Yeah, the true GMT alone is worth it, let alone the proper 28.8k movement.

Thought I would add some news to this topic.

I'm in HK at the moment and seen it in the flesh, a black one too. Seems to be trickling into Europe now at €599.

Value for money, it's superb. 28.8k movement, true GMT and the case finishing is good for the price point. Only thing I don't like is the embossed globe on the dial. Some may like it though... Can't wait to see the other releases using this movement.

^ did the one you saw in HK have a misaligned date wheel too?

Seriously though it does look a decent watch although the lack of WR puts me off a bit.

Lol. Luckily it didn't! This is HK, so I didn't feel too comfortable taking pics of the said watch and then not buying.
