Hi All,

Looking at a watch from WF, they have serviced it in house and are a certified service centre for the brand of watch.

But it means it comes with no service paperwork. So basically I have their word that it has been serviced but no paperwork to that effect.

Is that normal when buying from WF? Was kind of expecting a piece of paper saying "watch was serviced on x date".

I do have an email saying it has been serviced, has new glass etc.

Thats normal from Watchfinder, and to be fair when I had a watch serviced by Omega in the past I didn't get anything more than an invoice for it.

Watchfinder I believe give a 24 month warranty on watches they sell too so you shouldn't have any problems.

Surely an invoice from Omega *is* paperwork for the service?

The only thing to watch for is the level of polishing, in my opinion. I had a 116710ln that was 4 years old from them. Edges were visibly duller than my friends sub. Watch looked great and if it had been an older watch (10 hrs old +) I would not have cared. The fact that it was relatively new and they had dulled it frustrated me.

Ended up selling it for what I paid and got a watch that had not been polished for the same amount.
