I rather fancy a Stop2Go, but I’ve read a few reports of failed movements.

Are they unreliable? Should I just go for another of the range that looks the same but does without the novel second hand movement?

I’ve seen a couple of the black face versions on EBay recently, but I want to hold out for a white faced model

Any experience amongst PH’ers?

I bought a white face model last year, must have been one of the last one for sale new, it’s great, no troubles at all

I never heard of this before but just did a search and must admit that it is a really cool feature.

I have one, as it happens - originally it belonged to my late grandfather. I have no idea how old it is, but it has seen some wear (enough for the original leather strap to need replacing).

I've had to adjust position of the second-hand so that it pauses in the right place, but otherwise it has been perfectly reliable.

I prefer the leather strap (especially the red one) but that bracelet quite suits the watch

Must be nice to have the history - inexpensive watch, but priceless provenance

Very nice indeed. A decent deal, I hope?

Yes - less than the RRP when they were still available. Although I really wanted one, I wasn’t willing to pay inflated grey prices
