I'm looking to get my 2007 Carrera Automatic serviced and repaired.

The watch is a keepsake but I just can't justify spending £450+ to send it to Tag who would no doubt have it months and not really fix it.

The pushers seen a bit sticky/notchy and I think it needs a good stripdown and clean/checkover.

Any recommendations? Google of course brings up loads of online ones, but I'd rather give the business to a known/trusted repairer.

Recommended to me by a TAG retailer. They did a good job on a battery replacement for me, I know it's not a service but they've been around for a while so I'd give them a try.

If you send it back to Tag it will be fully serviced and any thing that needs replacing will be.

Not on the two previous services I've had with them.

It won't be $450+
I recently got my automatic Carrera Twin Time serviced by Tag for £350. I took it to an Ernest Jones jewelers and they took care of the shipping to and from Tag

I use a local guy to do mine, he my Tag Carrera Chrono last year, did a good job.

I think he does a postal service too:

Turnaround was much quicker than main dealer too.

I've used the Watch Doctors in Tring, Hertfordshire and they were very good and will definitely use them again.

+1

I sent my TAG there for a new battery and crown replacement. Great service, reasonable price.

I've had to send my Heuer Jacky Ickx back to Switzerland as 3 different watch experts have all said the parts I require are no longer available except via the factory?
Big bill & long wait ahead...

This one won’t need to go back to the factory in Switzerland. Have recently serviced similar smile
