Absolutely unfathomable.

I think it's telling the correct time, but none of the other functions make any sense. And they're impossible to read.

It's just a toy watch, right?

I never wear it because it's ste, but I got it out this evening to move the time back an hour for DST and I'm already fking pissed off with it. It'll go into a drawer that I never open.

Piece of fashion-jewellery crap.

Not got one but DST on most G-Shocks is usually adjusted by holding down the adjust button (top left) and then cycling through the options with the mode button (bottom left) until DST appears.

Failing that, give it to a kid and and ask them to sort it wink

It's just started fking dinging at me, and I don't know why. It's been on the table for ten minutes, so what set it off?

I genuinely hate it.

I'm a casio fan, but the Casioak leaves me cold because the digital display too small and the watch is too big.

I only bought it because people on PH said they were fking marvellous.

I've since learned that people on PH talk bks.

I didn't fall for the plastic Moonwatch hype, at least.

Doofus, I assume you've had a crap day at work, and/or hit the sauce early. If so I sympathise - I'm much the same this evening. But it's only a watch, mate!

I recommend putting some mellow tunes on the stereo, lighting an incense stick, and taking a depth breath. It's working for me biggrin

I don't really bother with work anymore, and I've not had a drink thus far smile

I don't wear the watch because I don't like it, but I know I don't represent the majority view and I do have a plan though...

Does it involve a hammer and lighter fluid?

If it helps, I agree about the casioak. The only noteworthy budget casios are the world timer with the map on, and the Royale.

I've got a lightly self-modified Royale but it's very plasticky. Not sure where it is, actually...

Seems the place to confess I don't get the whole Casio thing. Clearly many like them but to me they just look crap, G-shocks etc. even worse hehe

I'm clearly wrong, but ho hum, can't all like the same things smile

I do.loke G-Shocks but not a huge fan of the Casioak.

G-Shocks are a bit marmite but they are ideal for my work because I don't care about them taking a hit or two

I had one probably the most difficult setting up watch ever made, I gave up but somehow it went to the correct time. Buttons don't help.

I too fell for the hype, and now the 'proud' owner of a watch that I never wear. It's pants.

I have the blue one and it's pretty much impossible to read, unlike my squares. Even the GW-B5600BC-1BJF is more legible.

I find G shocks a bit of a faff to set up and its easy to inadvertently set an signal/arm to "on". Once you're set up though its plain sailing smile

Cracking gesture, good on you.

I own the matte black one, which I actually do like - however it is a pain in the arse to adjust for DST every year, randomly beeps from a kitchen cupboard at 4pm every day to remind me it's still alive, and is equivalent to staring into a subterranean void if you want to glance at the time when it's dark outside, so I can sympathise. hehe
