Anyone know if discounts are available on omega watches? If so what would be a reasonable starting point to ask for? Seen a nice sea master but a little out my budget so wondering if I could get it anywhere cheaper.

Not sure where you are but my local Omega AD is giving up Omega and currently offering all models at 20% off . Message me if you want more info

If you are asking about AD, not grey dealers then I recently obtained 1000 off from 6100 from new Seamaster 300 heritage.
I have visited a few and one other AD would have matched it and Goldsmiths stopped at 5400.

Hope this helps.

15-20% is easily obtainable from most ADs I think. You may struggle to get any sort of discount at a boutique though. I recently got 20% off a Seamaster 300 with no effort at an AD.

Are the boutiques the shops that solely sell omegas and nothing else?
Also which place did you get the 20% off your seamaster as that’s the model I’m looking at?

Things must have changed since I bought my Speedy Pro some 5 years or so back - the AD would hardly budge a penny.

Looked in the window of a jeweller and Omega has gone up so much in price.

Does SH pricing also go up?

I’ve seen goldsmiths have preowned ones at £1000 less than new and they’re approx 1yr old.
If I could get a 20% discount on a new one it would bring the price in at secondhand price.

I bought my current Seamaster 300m in April 2021 and got it for 4000 from an AD brand new when the list price was £4400, I believe the RRP has gone up to £4800 (Or was last time I looked) on the same watch.

Edit- Just did a quick double check and it's now £5100 RRP!

Yeah the one I’m looking at is £5100 and they are supposed to be going up to £5500 in February.

Thanks for that. Just looked and typically don’t show the black faced one I’m after but I’ve just emailed them to see if it’s available. Excellent price that. Saving £1000. If they don’t have the one I’m after at least I know if they can do them for that then others will be able to.

A good relationship with your local AD will help a lot. 10 - 20% should be achievable with most brands.

Forget boutiques in general unless you’ve used them before.

I don't think you pushed hard enough. I got the first one into store of the current SMP300M when released and got 18% off. I told my AD I wanted it when it was released by Omega and it took a few months for actual store stock to come in and I got the first piece they received.

Just checked my paperwork and paid £3100 for Black Dial SMP300 on bracelet, Dec 2018.

Yeah the boutiques are the shops that only sell Omega.

I bought my watch on holiday over the new year, I was in Morocco. Walked in, asked what the best price was, they offered 15% off, I asked if they could do better and they came back with 20% off. Done.

As has already been posted on this thread, there's loads of authorised dealers in the UK offering the same discounts. Just go in and ask. The worst they can do is say no.

Presumably because you can't 'mouse over' on a phone like you can on a PC. The numbers on his site are:
