About 8 years ago I bought a black Rubber B with green insert and put it on my milgauss GV. I took it off pretty quickly, unimpressed with the quality.

I’ve seen a few shots lately of their white strap with green insert and it looks smart. Does anyone know if the quality has moved on? Are they thicker and more rigid? Do they integrate the clasp better now?

Thanks!

Or any other suggestions? I have Horus on my panerai and that always felt very high quality, though no clasp option on the milgauss options?

I have had two rubber B straps and the quality has been impeccable on both.

Suspect the GV Milgauss referred to by the OP was not a Z-Blue variant?

Say that as I have one and was sold a Rubber B for it by a well known Mayfair Rolex ‘expert’ who assured me it would fit. It didn’t; and couldn’t… I eventually ascertained from RB themselves that the Z has different case dimensions and geometry from the other Milgauss variants, and therefore no fitment was offered by them.

I learned this after using the bit of leverage the supplier told me I would need to employ to get the strap on; gouging a nice line across the case back in the process. RB confirmed there was no way what had been supplied would fit a Z.

Needless to say, the well known Mayfair ‘expert’ did eventually acknowledge their mistake and took the strap back for a refund (complaining bitterly it was not resaleable now due to the mauling it had suffered in trying to make it fit); they told me to whistle for the damage to the watch however, reasonably asserting I should have realised the error they had made.

I wouldn’t wipe my backside on a RB, especially not one supplied by Mayfair ‘experts’

Everest look nice.

Do crafter blue do one for the milgauss? It’ll be cheaper than a rubber b if they do.

It is not a Z Blue. Original black dial.

Plenty of RB straps on the Z Blue on their website FYI

I occasionally swap to a Rubber B strap on my S/S Daytona and is it very good quality and fits perfectly.

I wonder if it's the same knob who told me it's normal to bend a springbar to make the strap fit a 16600 sea dweller.

I should have known something was up when they took more than 30 mins to fit it. I thought the watchmaker was busy doing something else, not busy bending my springbar

In Burlington arcade?

I bought a Rubber B a couple of years ago for a Sub. Not impressed with the quality and they never fit right. Returned...but they were a nightmare to deal with. I vote avoid.

I have just bought an Everest strap for my 14060m Sub. I took an age weighing up whether to go Everest or Rubber B. In the end I was swayed towards Everest by the reports of ste customer service from Rubber B. I bought the strap that fits on the original clasp, counting the links on each side of the bracelet to determine the length of the rubber pieces. It’s a perfect fit, still utilises the micro adjust of the original clasp, and the rubber is very supple.

I recall seeing images then, and it could be there is a specific fitment now (my experience was in 2018), but I have an email from RB confirming there was not a fitment (then) for the Z Blue. The case is different from other Milgauss models for some strange reason.

Doesn’t mean someone didn’t get something to fit somehow but the strap I was sold was never going on my watch; was a completely ste (and expensive) experience
