Other than watches, the only metal jewellery I wear is a platinum and white gold wedding ring. On the rare occasion I wear cufflinks, they're silver or silver-coloured. I had some 18ct gold ones that belonged to my dad, but they were nicked.

Watches are either stainless steel, PVD or bronze.

Can I carry off rose gold, do you reckon? What RG stuff do you lot have?

I don’t see why not.

I have two rose gold rings I wear: puzzle ring with 1 band of rose gold and what was probably a wedding ring.

The only rose gold watch I own, a date just. However, compared to a stainless steel date just, the tone elevates it to a whole new level...just like it does to the Blancpain you are considering.

No longer have this, but I think it suited my fairly dark complexion

Personally rose gold looks gorgeous especially on a darker complexion.

OP you could easily pull it off!

I tan quickly but also fade fast, so I'll only wear it for seven months of the year. smile

I really like Rose Gold ... would like to make it possible for my next watch purchase. Yes as others have said, darker complection required! I have never fancied or think I suit yellow gold for that very reason smile

I'm on holibobs so not got it with me for a photo but got one of these for Christmas, which I really, really like and the RG is beautiful but very subtle. Lovely thing in the flesh:

I tan well, but am naturally quite pastey. I think RG is easy to pull off personally. Crack on.

Different story off rubber/leather though. Changes the dynamic a lot when you have a gold bracelet too.

A professional hitman can probably get away with wearing anything cool
