Is that the new one with the funny spring in it?

It looks very nice indeed.

Its a beauty ... I do prefer it with a the strap over the bracelet or nato as oer the Speedmaster Racing.

What a fantastic looking piece. Would love one, but can't even begin to justify that sort of money sadly frown

How do you think they will hold the value? Would it be worthwhile waiting for a “used” one?

Wow, yeah that is beautiful. I was in WoS Heathrow T5 on Saturday and was looking at the all-black Dark Side of the Moon Speedmaster, absolutely stunning in person.

There seems to be a trend of everyone releasing all black/matte black pieces at the moment and I wondered what they will do value-wise in the future and wondered whether they'll go out of fashion..

I put my name down for one of the Super Racing's when the press release came out. Who knows if I will be remembered or not but the watch seems to be very expensive.

All new Speedy's have gone up considerably. In 2021 I bought the 42" Hesalite/1861 movement which was £4.1k. That was actually the cheapest Speedmaster at the time. I renewed my home insurance recently and checked rrp's for the policy as the advisor at Aviva asjed and was suprised to find that the cheapest Speedy is now with the 3861 movement and is £6.1k.

It's ok if you hold it at exactly the right angle in direct sunlight! But it is still a lovely thing.
