Got my heart set on a smart non diver style watch , looking to buy second hand with a max budget of £3.5k two that appeal are the https://www.iwc.com/gb/en/watch-collections/portof... or the https://www.omegawatches.com/en-gb/watch-omega-sea...

Any thoughts on how the two compare never seen the IWC I the flesh

Just wondered if there is anything else I should consider.?

Omega Deville.
Grey dial but blue strap and hands and markers.
They do a full blue version too.
And loads of versions

I’ve got both but the IWC is the chrono version and the AT is on a steel bracelet.

IWC is a lot more delicate and I’d consider (despite the chrono on mine) it being a dress watch. Suits smaller wrists unlike a lot of the IWC range which look enormous.

AT is far more rugged and therefore gets lots more use. I have a lot less concern with it getting damaged so happily wear it when pissing around on boats or working on cars etc. The only disappointing part of ownership is that it has gone wrong twice and that I chose it over a Rolex Milgauss.

Both great watches.

Went to try a few on today, the omega de ville was lovely but just too delicate looking for me and think I would hardly ever wear it day to day. The AT blue dial with rubber strap
Was lovely though

Also tried on. Tissot PRX. Blown away what amazing value it is !
