Lets all Bud light Rolex
Discussion
I have just sent an email to my useless AD, please sirs can you remove my details from your list as has been 5 years now and your products just arnt very fashionable anymore, I have one already, but do not wear it as im getting tired of being called a wnkr down the pub and therefore will have no need for useless trinkets that irritate my fellow man.
Kind Regards
I just wonder how this would go down if every one did this on mass, what a wonderfull world it would be to see the smugness followed by sheer panic and even the muggers to boycotte the product

It’s slowly happening anyway no need to throw your toys out the pram.
Twenty years ago my entire wardrobe was mostly made in Italy, I only considered Rolex and wanted a GTi drive.
Today everything is from Japan.
European culture is slowly crumbling and the brands we loved will die with it.

I agree that traditional prestigious brands are changing. Its a reflection of society as newer generations simply don't believe the hype.
Overall its a good thing even if in certain industries its taking longer for change than others.
Car brands for me are the obvious one as electrification has allowed the traditional monopoly of the premium brands to be put under pressure. Also helps that the younger generation don't seem as into cars as my own generation so will happily treat a car as a throw away commodity. They won't necessarily pay a premium for an established brand when newer brands offer better value.

Cool is what it boils down to.
In todays heavily influenced society what might appear to be cool may no longer actually be cool
Nothing says "I'm no longer relevant" as bluntly as a Rolex watch. Would also throw any luxury brand in the mix too.In todays heavily influenced society what might appear to be cool may no longer actually be cool
Out with the old and in with the new.

You only have to see the queues/demand for collabs, LV, Gucci, Balenciaga, Supreme, Off-White, Jordans etc. - it’s insane.
That said, they don’t give a f

When the demand for Rolex drops, they’ll move on to the next big thing.

I think hanging out and trolling on the watch section of an online motoring forum probably rules you (&me) out from being a relevant and credible source of current trends. Out with the old and in with the new.
